Where is the show being held ?
The 2009 Airshow is being held at the Malta International Airport - Park 4 - entry via Hal Farrug road.
Where will the flying display be held ?
The 2009 Airshow Flying Display is also being held at the Malta International Airport - over runway 23/05.
What are the airshow opening hours ?
The gates open at 10:00am and close at 5:30pm both Saturday and Sunday.
Where is the show entry gate ?
Entry to the 2009 Airshow is via Hal Farrug Road - (via Vella Bros. roundabout in Qormi).
Please note that the airshow public entry gate has changed from previous years and is now near to Park 3 - just as you go past the Housing Estate up the hill.
Where are the ticket prices ?
Entrace to the 2009 Airshow costs € 8 (eight euros) for adults. Children under 14 years enter for free.
Is there parking available ?
Yes the entrance also covers FREE parking.
Are the aircraft next to the parking area ?
No as of this year, the public has to park on Park 3 and then walk to the Aircraft Park which is situated around 5 minutes walk away.
Is there public transport ?
There should be buses leaving from the Valletta terminus to the show. It imperative that you check with the Valletta terminus - Transport Authority to verify that there are buses and at what times.
