𝗣𝗔𝗧𝗥𝗢𝗨𝗜𝗟𝗟𝗘 𝗦𝗨𝗜𝗦𝗦𝗘 𝗖𝗢𝗡𝗙𝗜𝗥𝗠𝗘𝗗

We are thrilled to announce that Patrouille Suisse, the Swiss Air Force's aerobatic display team, will join us for the first time at the Malta International Airshow 2023. Their stunning display of precision flying and aerobatic manoeuvres will leave audiences in awe.

Founded in 1964, the team consists of six Northrop F-5E Tiger II fighter jets that perform a variety of precision flying manoeuvres, including loops, rolls, and formation flying. The pilots of Patrouille Suisse are highly skilled and trained professionals who have undergone rigorous training to perform these aerial displays with extreme precision and safety. Their performances are renowned for their stunning visual effects, dynamic flying, and exceptional showmanship.

We are honoured to host the Patrouille Suisse, and we can't wait to welcome them to Malta and witness their fantastic performance. Stay tuned for more updates on the Malta International Airshow 2023.

THE MALTA INTERNATIONAL AIRSHOW IS BACK!

We are thrilled to announce that the Malta International Airshow will be returning in 2023! After a two-year hiatus, we cannot wait to once again welcome aviation enthusiasts from all over the world to this exciting event. Scheduled to take place from the 23-24th of September, the Malta International Airshow promises to be another exhilarating event for all. Attendees can expect to see a thrilling display of aerobatic manoeuvres and static displays showcasing some of the most impressive aircraft in the world. Our team has been working hard to bring back the Malta International Airshow and to ensure that this year's event is another safe and enjoyable experience.

Vigili del Fuoco AW139

Strong Leonardo presence at MIA2021! We have received confirmation that the Italian Vigili del Fuoco (Italian National Fire Corps) will participate at this year’s edition for the very first time with an AW139 in the static line up.

The Italian National Fire Corps intends to progressively replace the decades-old AB412s helicopters and to guarantee optimal coverage and increased responsiveness across the country. Indeed, the introduction of the AW139 marks a major enhancement of airborne multirole capabilities with the world’s most modern helicopter for maritime and mountain Search and Rescue (SAR), medical rescue, firefighting and disaster relief duties. The fleet modernization programme includes an option for seven additional helicopters which could be added to the eight already ordered.
