We are delighted to confirm the participation of the Royal Netherlands Air Force AS532 Cougar helicopter in the static display. This marks the return of the Dutch Air Force to the airshow after their last appearance in 2010.

The Royal Netherlands Air Force (RNLAF) utilizes the AS532 Cougar, a versatile medium-lift helicopter manufactured nowadays by Airbus Helicopters. With its primary roles encompassing troop transport, combat search and rescue, medical evacuation, and special operations support, the Cougar serves as a crucial asset for the Dutch military. The RNLAF operates 12 AS532s under 300 Squadron based at Gilze-Rijen. Just recently, the RNLAF has procured 14 new H225M Caracal from Airbus Helicopters to replace the AS532 Cougar, so this is mostly likely the last appearance for the Cougar in Malta!

Stay tuned for further updates and announcements as we continue to unveil the exciting lineup for this year's airshow.
